So far so good. We all made it safely to our layover in Houston. Now we wait. Small groups of us have scattered across the airport to scavenge for food and trinkets for our dear ones praying at home. In less than 3 hours we will be boarded on a second flight headed to Rio. After that a trek through customs and on to Rio.
