On Thursday night, our team spent an evening off. We went to dinner at Roscoe's for some chicken and waffles. Yummm!

Deb was enjoying the sweet potatoes!

After we had filled our tummies, we headed up to the Griffith Observatory. What a view of Los Angeles! We were able to attend a show at the Samuel Oschin Planetarium. In the picture below, the "sky" you see is actually the video screen.

The seats reclined back so we could see the whole screen, which covered the entire ceiling! It was amazing!!

The view was spectacular!

The exhibits were pretty fabulous, too.

There was a cool infra-red video. These are the hands of some of our kids :)

Here's the periodic table, with the actual elements inside each box. This would make it so much easier to remember!

Thank you all for your prayers and support! This has been a great time of discovery. We are finding God in so many places, including chicken and waffles. He is changing each of us in just the way we need, meeting us where we are, putting us in the jobs and places we need to be in to accomplish what He has in mind!
