The kayaking group went to La Jolla to kayak in the ocean. It was really difficult to get out past the waves... some tipped over. And over, and over...Once out, the water was much easier to navigate. We were able to see some caves--from a distance--and even some sea lions!
We worked together as a team to keep us together.
The ride into the shore was the best part! It was so fun to be pushed in by the waves!!

Another team went surfing. Some had lessons, some learned from Pastor Brent and some just hung out at the beach.

Jacque L. learned so quickly that she started teaching others! Here she is teaching Alex.
Some went boogie boarding, too.
The third group took a ferry to Coronado to go biking. Some rode tandem bikes.
